Role Description
This is an on-site Window Fitter role based in Scotland, United Kingdom, offered on a contract basis. The Window Fitter will be responsible for measuring, installing, and finishing energy-efficient windows and related fittings in domestic and commercial properties, ensuring accurate alignment, secure fixing, and a high-quality finish.

Day-to-day tasks include:
- Removing existing units where required
- Preparing openings
- Sealing and insulating around frames
- Completing any necessary trims and adjustments

The role also involves following health and safety procedures, using appropriate tools and equipment, maintaining a clean work area, and communicating clearly with customers and colleagues about job progress and any issues.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in window installation, fitting, and finishing, with attention to accuracy and quality.
- Practical experience using hand and power tools safely, and interpreting measurements, drawings, or specifications.
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices on site, including safe manual handling and use of access equipment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and site personnel.
- Previous experience in glazing, carpentry, or construction roles is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete jobs to agreed standards and deadlines.
- Full, valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to different sites across Scotland.
- Relevant trade qualifications or vocational certifications in construction or window fitting are an advantage.
