Your role
As a Senior Consultant, you are an expert at contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in; you will define the problem, propose and refine the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability-building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Required
- Windows server support experience across multiple domains
- The ability to investigate, manage and resolve issues on Windows servers remotely
- Good PowerShell scripting skills and ability to automate Microsoft Windows server and client jobs
- Working understanding of DevOps practices; this needs to be evidenced to show the ability to be able to work in operations as well as to be part of a team developing and delivering solutions as required
- Good experience in supporting Server 2012, Server 2019, ESXI and Hyper-V infrastructures
- Experience in supporting Windows 10 OS clients
- Good GPO, AD, DNS management experience
- Keen and able to learn new hardware and software off-the-shelf technologies/systems and enhance them
- Experience as part of a team, responsible for resolving Major Incidents
- Packaging applications for deployment to clients/servers via system management tools (SCCM, LANDesk, etc.)
- The ability to consume requirements and translate them into deliverables as part of a team responsible for critical infrastructure; this would need to be done with little or no supervision
- Experience in analysing customer requirements for changes and proposing solutions

Preferred
- Azure Stack HCI knowledge or experience
- Experience in working with branch office environments and edge assets
- Major Incident resolution, this would require experience and the correct mindset to trouble shooting across the infrastructure to resolve incidents of varied and unpredictable nature remotely
- Experience with troubleshooting infrastructure (Windows Server configuration, middleware, firewall rules etc.) when investigating application issues.
