Windows Systems Administrator

Miller Maxwell has been engaged by a well-established hedge fund to find a Windows Systems Administrator who can take charge of its endpoint and server landscape across several European locations. It's a role that blends people leadership with genuine technical depth. You'll be part of a small, collaborative Infrastructure function spanning both endpoint and server-side responsibilities. The Windows Systems Administrator will be given the freedom to manage IT projects.

Windows Systems Administrator - responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of IT Projects across the desktop and server team.
  • Manage and grow a Desktop Support team — day-to-day management of a small but growing team.
  • Take ownership of the toughest support tickets.
  • Microsoft estate management, both on-premise and in the cloud (M365/Azure), with security and scalability front of mind.
  • Build and enforce standards around device management, patching, and Group Policy.
  • Handle the full certificate lifecycle — issuing, renewing, and revoking — across internal and external PKI.
  • Govern change control and the joiner/mover/leaver process.
  • Take ownership of procurement and vendor relationships.
  • Work closely with wider infrastructure teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
