One of our clients is looking for a Wintel Engineer to support a critical Microsoft infrastructure environment. This role will focus on maintaining and supporting enterprise Windows platforms, ensuring security compliance, service availability, and infrastructure stability within a highly regulated environment. The Wintel Engineer will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of Microsoft-based infrastructure supporting critical services.
You will be working across Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory, and virtualized environments. You will ensure platform stability, deliver infrastructure changes, and support operational excellence across the estate.

Details:
- Location: UK / Remote
- Clearance: Active SC clearance (used in a project within the last 12 months) - MUST HAVE
- Duration: Initially until December 2026 (Potential Extension)
- Start Date: ASAP
Key requirements:
- Active SC Clearance is essential.
- Proven experience as a Wintel Engineer, Windows Infrastructure Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer.
- Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience supporting Azure and Azure Local environments.
- Knowledge of Microsoft System Centre technologies including SCCM, SCOM, SCVMM, and Orchestrator.
- Hands-on experience with VMware and Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
- Understanding of ITIL processes, incident management, change management, and major incident resolution.
