Help bring offenders to justice and empower victims and witness.

We’re looking for two passionate individuals to join the team as Witness Care Officers on a 12-month fixed term basis, providing a vital support to victims and witness throughout their cases. In this rewarding role, you’ll deliver updates and information in line with legislation, ensure individuals are aware of the services available to them and help cases progress smoothly and effectively.

You’ll be:

  • Supporting and guiding victims and witness relating to their cases.
  • Regularly contact witness ensuring they are ready and attend hearing/hearing outcomes.
  • Processing information and written/verbal enquiries accurately on computer databases.

You must have:

  • Experience displaying empathy to distressed customers in a confidential setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels, including negotiation and influencing positively.
  • Problem solving skills using information gathered and analysed from various sources.
