About WIZE
WIZE is the leading all-in-one Portfolio Management System for Swiss boutique wealth managers, External Asset Managers, and family offices. Founded in Geneva in 2010, WIZE has earned a trusted position in a relationship-driven market through deep product capability and a differentiated back-office outsourcing service that competitors have not replicated. The company operates on a highly recurring subscription model, holds a strong position within its vertical, and is in excellent operating shape. WIZE is now entering its first chapter of international ownership under Banyan Software, combining more than fifteen years of product depth and client trust with the operational and AI expertise of a global software group.
The Opportunity
You will join WIZE directly as Managing Director, United Kingdom, reporting to the CEO of WIZE, with responsibility for establishing and growing the UK business. This is a value-creation mandate, not a turnaround. You will take the business into a new market, with the United Kingdom as the primary prize. The product has to remain the primary competitive advantage, the recurring revenue base has to be protected, and the opportunity to create structural distance through AI is real.
-
Ownership and Strategy:

- Build the commercial motion from the ground up
- Partner with the CEO and product and technology leader to ensure the platform addresses the needs of the UK market
- Have substantial authority over the execution of the agreed UK strategy
- Key commercial development decisions, including market positioning, target segments, pricing, partnerships, resource allocation, and major commercial commitments, will be decided jointly with the CEO
-
Long-term Support:
- Benefit from the long-term backing of a permanent-capital owner
- Be free from the pressure to flip the business
What You Will Own
Commercial & Revenue Growth
- Build the foundation of the UK subsidiary and work closely with the CEO to define WIZE's expansion into the UK market
- Own the execution of WIZE's UK strategy, market positioning, and competitive response in the wealth management software market
- Drive UK revenue and ARR growth with direct accountability across new customer acquisition, expansion, pricing execution, and the development of recurring revenue
- Build and execute the UK go-to-market motion from the ground up: local presence, bank and partner relationships, and a repeatable pipeline where little exists today
- Serve as the primary executive relationship owner for key UK clients, bank partners, and influencers, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and contract renewal
- Develop and deepen strategic partnerships across private banks, discretionary fund managers, and the wider UK wealth management ecosystem
- Anticipate client needs and proactively identify opportunities to expand the company's footprint within existing UK
- Identify AI-driven opportunities to reposition the product and create durable competitive distance within the WealthTech vertical, working with the CEO and product and technology leader to assess and prioritise them

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Partner closely with the CEO and CPTO so that the roadmap, packaging, and pricing tiers align tightly with UK commercial needs
- Gather structured feedback from UK prospects, clients, and partners and translate it into clear commercial and product recommendations

- Communicate clearly and proactively with the CEO on business performance, strategic priorities, pipeline development, and market conditions
- Coordinate closely with WIZE's Geneva-based product, technology, implementation, client service, compliance, and operational teams

The Managing Director we are looking for is a commercially-led WealthTech operator with deep roots in the UK wealth management software market who leads with an AI-first mindset and is energized by the opportunity to create real, lasting business value.
- Experience and Skills:
- Personally owned a revenue number, built a commercial motion where none existed, and opened a new geography from scratch
- Held senior commercial responsibility at a software company serving wealth managers, private banks, or asset managers, with a track record of treating product as a primary strategic lever, closing complex, relationship-driven deals at a senior level, and leading your organisation through at least one meaningful inflexion point
- Proactively reposition ahead of market pressure, make difficult commercial and talent decisions for the long-term health of the business, and understand how to grow recurring revenue and protect the retention that sustains durability
- Is a value-creating enterprise SaaS leader who sees AI not as a feature but as a structural advantage embedded in how they sell, operate, and create enduring competitive distance for the businesses they lead
Qualifications for Success
- Experience:
- Owned the P&L or revenue number of a B2B SaaS, FinTech, or vertical software business, with direct accountability for revenue growth, retention, and margin expansion
