WMF Default Process Coordinator

As a WMF Default Process Coordinator in our UK and Defence Royal Navy Support team, you’ll help safeguard the integrity of Aviation Electronic Information Systems and support forward-deployed fleet organisations to make better use of data. Applicable work will drive safer operations, enhance decision-making, and create positive impacts on military aviation communities.
You’ll join a team dedicated to excellence in airworthiness, data quality, and innovation—pioneering impactful solutions that support the Wildcat Maritime Force and shape the future of digital exploitation across the fleet.
About the Role
You’ll be entrusted to:
- Create, review, and update Default Processes in line with technical publications and Force CAMO requirements.
- Maintain a library of Default Processes and conduct 100% quality assurance checks on changes related to the CIETP pertaining to the WMF Default Process Library.
- Maintain MERIT databases, email systems, and MODNET files, ensuring the safe filing and archiving of Data Integrity and Airworthiness data.
- Provide in-house training and mentoring on Default Process activities to Squadron/Unit custodians and MERIT colleagues.
- Liaise with Platform Delivery Teams, attend relevant GOLDesp, CAMO, and CIETP meetings as directed by Force CAMOs.
- Investigate data integrity issues, address remedial actions, and support technical data exploitation activities.
- Manage and update GOLDesp records, including creation and supervision of SE items in compliance with JAP(D)100A-0409, CIETP, and local instructions.
- Ensure compliance of all contracted tasks with customer policy, statutory regulations, and Serco’s Safety Management System, escalating risks and quality concerns appropriately.

Requirements
Does this sound like you? You’ll bring the right fit if you have:
- Experience in a military or industry airworthiness environment.
- Eligibility to meet RA4806 requirements for MAM-P authorisations.
- A Certificate of Competency to Supervise Aircraft Maintenance (or its approved equivalent).
- A working knowledge of WRAM Online, EHUDS AEIS, and GOLDesp—with relevant supervisor, custodian, or coordinator training completed.
- Understanding of:
- Airworthiness engineering
- Regulatory frameworks
- CAMO practice
- Strong initiative, drive, and ability to perform under pressure while maintaining operational outputs.
Vetting and Security
This role requires:
- Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance.
- Depending on the role, formal security clearance (e.g., CTC/SC) with intensified background checks.
NOTE: UK residency requirements may apply for some clearance levels.
