WMS Product Manager

Start Date: ASAP
Contract: £500 per Day
Duration: Minimum 12 Months, with Potential for Extension
Location: Remote, with Travel as Required

We’re looking for an experienced Food WMS Product Manager to take ownership of a business-critical legacy Warehouse Management System within a large-scale retail and supply chain environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a product professional with hands-on RedPrairie expertise to lead the ongoing development, stability and enhancement of a live operational platform. You’ll shape the product roadmap, prioritise the backlog and ensure the system continues to support complex warehouse operations effectively.

The Opportunity

As WMS Product Manager, you’ll own and drive the RedPrairie Warehouse Management System, also known as Blue Yonder or JDA WMS.

You’ll balance longer-term product development with the immediate need to protect service stability across a live operational environment. Working closely with business, technology and operational stakeholders, you’ll translate complex requirements into clear product priorities and deliver enhancements that create measurable operational value.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll take end-to-end ownership of the WMS product by:

  • Managing, refining and prioritising the product backlog.
  • Defining, maintaining and owning the product roadmap.
  • Protecting the stability and continuity of the live WMS platform.
  • Leading the delivery of system and operational enhancements, including initiatives such as paperless loading.
  • Translating business and operational needs into clear product requirements.
  • Working closely with stakeholders across technology, supply chain and warehouse operations.
  • Balancing strategic product objectives with live service requirements.
  • Supporting Agile, backlog-driven delivery across the product lifecycle.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve existing processes and platform capabilities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
