Quest Search & Selection Recruitment for WMS Project Manager

Quest Search & Selection are partnering with a well-established, multi-site retail business to recruit a WMS Project Manager. The role is to lead complex, strategic projects across IT and logistics. Acting as the key link between IT applications, infrastructure, and logistics operations, you will ensure technology solutions deliver practical and measurable business outcomes. This role is suited to someone who brings strong commercial thinking, technical expertise, and a focus on long-term impact.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing IT team, playing a key role in maintaining and enhancing technology across head office, distribution and retail locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver projects from initiation through completion, overseeing all aspects and ensuring alignment between technical delivery and business workflows.
  • Develop and maintain project work plans, adapting timelines and priorities to reflect changing business requirements.
  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of projects, maintaining close communication with business teams to validate solutions and ensure they meet operational needs.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to facilitate successful implementation, acting as the link between business requirements and technical capabilities.
  • Collaborate with third-party suppliers to define requirements, assess technical feasibility, resolve issues, and ensure vendor accountability.
  • Identify required resources and allocate responsibilities to support effective project delivery.
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up to date, complete, and appropriately maintained.
  • Support the IT team with administrative, governance, reporting, and operational activities.

  • Ideally having 3+ years’ experience in Project Management, ideally within retail, logistics or supply chain.
  • Proven experience delivering WMS implementations.
  • Experience combining Project Management and Business Analysis.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience across senior and operational teams.
  • Knowledge of PRINCE2/Agile project methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of warehousing, logistics, and supply chain processes.
  • Skilled in process mapping, requirements gathering, and process design.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and organisational skills.
