BWC Women’s Accommodation Support Service (WASS)
BWC Women’s Accommodation Support Service (WASS) delivers support for women who are homeless or insecurely housed. In line with BWC values, the WASS adopts a relational, trauma responsive, strengths-based approach. The WASS supports women across a range of intersecting needs, as identified by them, with the overarching aim of securing and/or sustaining safe accommodation.

The WASW, will be expected to support our women only Hubs. The Hubs offer women access to practical and emotional support as well as advice, information and access to other relevant support services.
Responsibilities
- The WASW will co-produce casework support with each woman referred, to address her practical and emotional needs, and agree actions and a support plan that could include signposting, advocacy and referrals.
- The WASW will understand the importance of building trust and self-compassion to empower women and reduce barriers to her engaging with wider BWC, and other, services.

Key Points
- The WASW’s work will at all times be informed by BWC’s values, policies and procedures.
- The WASW will monitor and report against identified outcomes on a quarterly basis.
Working Hours
- Monday – Friday 9-5
Contract Type
- Fixed term until end March 2027 – with possibility of extension subject to funding
