🏆 Women's Team Psychologist
📍 Location: Chadwell Heath, Essex
🕒 Contract: Part-Time (3 days per week, including occasional evenings and weekends)

West Ham United is seeking an experienced and motivated Women's Team Psychologist to join our Women's Team based at Chadwell Heath.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the psychological performance and development of elite female footballers, working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team in a high-performance environment.
⚒️ Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of psychological support for Women's Team players.
- Deliver individual consultations, workshops and performance-focused interventions.
- Work collaboratively with coaches and the wider multidisciplinary team to optimise player performance.
- Support the development and delivery of education sessions for players, coaches and support staff.
- Complete psychological profiling in line with the Club's psychology framework.
- Attend departmental psychology meetings to review provision, share best practice and contribute to ongoing development.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and player development across the Women's Team.
- Ensure psychological support is underpinned by current research and evidence-based practice.

You will be an experienced practitioner who is passionate about helping elite athletes perform and develop in a high-performance environment.
Essential Requirements
- BPS-accredited BSc (Hons) in Sport & Exercise Psychology (or equivalent).
- BPS-accredited MSc in Applied Sport & Exercise Psychology (or equivalent).
- Completion of the QSEP or SEPAR accreditation pathway.
- HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist.
- Previous experience working with elite female athletes and/or footballers.
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge and understanding of elite football environments and competition structures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational, planning and time management skills.
- Experience working within professional football.
- Experience supporting athletes in elite or high-performance sporting environments.
- Ability to build strong relationships with players, coaches and support staff.

⚒️ Women’s Pathway Team Therapist
📍 Locations: Chadwell Heath Training Ground | Little Heath Training Ground | The Foundry, Beckton | Parsloes Leisure Centre
🕒 Contract Type: Casual 0 hours contract
🌙 Working Hours: Evening and weekend availability required
💰 Pay: £15 per hour
West Ham United Women are looking for a passionate and committed Women’s Pathway Team Therapist to join our Medical and Football Science department.
This is an exciting opportunity to support the development of our Women's Pathway players by delivering high-quality medical provision across our pathway teams. The successful candidate will play an important role in player care, injury prevention, rehabilitation and supporting athletes within a professional football environment.
⚒️ Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality medical support across Women's Pathway activities.
- Assess, treat and support the rehabilitation of player injuries.
- Develop and implement appropriate injury prevention and return-to-play programmes.
- Work collaboratively with coaches and the wider multidisciplinary team to support player development.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of medical provision across the Women's Pathway.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in line with Club processes and professional standards.
- Support player availability and long-term athletic development.
- Promote the values, standards and behaviours of West Ham United Women at all times.

We are looking for a motivated and professional therapist who is passionate about working within football and supporting the next generation of female athletes.
Essential Requirements:
- HCPC Registered Physiotherapist or Registered Sports Therapist (SST or equivalent).
- FA ITMMiF qualification (or equivalent).
- UKAD certification completed.
- Experience working within a sporting or high-performance environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continued professional development.
- Experience working within elite football or academy environments.
- Experience supporting female athletes.
- Knowledge and understanding of player rehabilitation and injury prevention.
