Description
To lead the delivery of the priorities identified within the Women’s Refereeing Project, supported through the FIFA funding programme, and play a key role in the strategic development and growth of women’s refereeing in Scotland. The role will support the progression and development of female referees, contributing to the continued growth and sustainability of the women’s refereeing pathway.
Please note, this is a two year fixed term contract.

- Lead the delivery of the priorities and objectives identified within the Women’s Refereeing Project and FIFA funding programme.
- Act as a key point of contact and advocate for the female refereeing community across Scotland.
- Support the recruitment, retention, development and progression of female referees at all levels of the game.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with referees, clubs, leagues, associations and other key stakeholders.
- Develop and support initiatives that promote and raise the profile of women’s refereeing across Scottish football.
- Identify opportunities to improve the experience, pathway and support available to female referees.
- Create and facilitate high-quality coaching and development opportunities, supported by relevant resources and materials tailored to the needs of female referees.
- Contribute to the delivery of the Scottish FA’s strategic aims, particularly those relating to the development and growth of the women’s and girls’ game.
- Monitor progress against agreed objectives, evaluate impact and contribute to reporting on the development of women’s refereeing.
