Join The FA in an exciting opportunity to join The Football Association as a Women's Talent Pathway Coordinator and play a part in supporting the future of the women's game.
Based at the iconic St George's Park, you'll provide high-quality administrative, coordination and operational support to the England Women's Talent Pathway team. You'll help ensure the smooth running of key processes that enable the team to identify and manage a broad and diverse pool of talented players, helping to ensure England teams have access to the best possible talent.
This role is a 4-month fixed-term contract.
What will you be doing?
- Support the administration of the Discover My Talent Programme as part of the England Women's Talent Pathway.
- Support the administration of the Player Referral system to support the identification of players for the England Women's Talent Pathway.
- Coordinate and deliver administrative support to regional staff, ensuring event packs, invites, venue information, attendance records, and processes are maintained accurately and efficiently.
- To provide administration and operational support for the England Women's Talent Pathway National Events as and when appropriate.
- Provide administrative support for key projects such as Finding our Finishers and Goalkeeping Talent ID and Development.
- To support the coordination of monthly Talent Team Meetings ensuring meeting rooms, refreshments and accommodation requirements are covered for attendees.
- Provide business support to the England Talent Pathway Team including travel, accommodation and activity requisitions.
- Support the onboarding, contracting, and payroll administration for England Women's Talent Pathway Casual staff ensuring compliance with internal processes and deadlines.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, templates, trackers, and ways of working to support a more efficient and consistent operations function.
- Attend Talent Team meetings and other departmental meetings as required.
- Undertake additional duties as reasonably required to support the evolving priorities of the FA Group.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure that the highest standards of health, safety, and well-being can be maintained.

What are we looking for?
Essential for the role:
- Experience of working in an administrative, coordination, or operational support role within a busy team environment.
- Knowledge and / or experience of women's football.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and competing priorities accurately and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail, with confidence maintaining records, trackers, reports, and other administrative documentation.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with internal colleagues and external stakeholders, providing excellent customer service.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
Beneficial to have:
- Experience of working in sport, football, talent pathways, events, or a performance environment.
- Understanding of Smartsheets and functions, processes within it.
Interviews are to take place at the National Football Centre, St. George's Park on the 14th of October.

Currently, we are working within a hybrid working model whereby the expectation is to work from your contractual location for part of the week, and as and when required by the team. The remaining days can be worked remotely. We will continue to monitor this model, and it may be adjusted in future if deemed necessary.
