About Us
We exist to create a more equal society for women, at home, at work, in communities and institutions.
We fight for gender equity through system-level change by educating about and advocating for living in sync with your cycle.
We are inclusive, innovative learners and storytellers. We never tell others what to do but provide the tools, the platform and the environment for people to share their stories and lived period realities. We amplify voices and stories that deserve to be shared to spark curiosity for cycle-tracking and allow for peer-to-peer learning.
Our aim is to share high quality resources (blogs, articles, trackers), courses and tools (tracking app) - for free - to inspire, educate and empower 1 billion people by 2030.
Why This Role Matters
The Woo Cycle book is a key part of how Period Reality expands menstrual and body literacy beyond adults to young readers and families. This book will help children understand their bodies, cycles and change in a respectful, age-appropriate way, breaking taboos and opening space for honest conversation.
We're looking for someone who can help bring The Woo Cycle to life online. From creating engaging content and building conversations to growing our social media presence, you'll help us reach families, caregivers, educators and communities who can benefit from the book and its message.
What You'll Do
- Develop and manage The Woo Cycle's social media presence across Instagram, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
- Create engaging content that brings the book, its characters, stories and messages to life online.
- Develop content ideas that speak to parents, caregivers, educators and families.
- Write compelling captions and adapt content for different platforms and audiences.
- Create content around the book's launch, sales, events, merchandise, fundraising and wider campaigns.
- Build and maintain a consistent social media content calendar.
- Schedule and publish content regularly across The Woo Cycle's social platforms.
- Engage with our community by responding to comments, messages and conversations.
- Identify relevant creators, educators, parenting communities and organisations that could help expand the book's reach.
- Monitor social media trends and identify creative opportunities to increase awareness and engagement.
- Track social media performance and use insights to improve content and audience growth.
- Collaborate with the Book Strategist, Graphic Designers, Video Editors and wider book team to develop and deliver content.
- Ensure all content is age-appropriate, accessible, sensitive and aligned with The Woo Cycle and Period Reality's values.
- Help grow an engaged online community around The Woo Cycle and its wider mission.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
