About the Role
As our Work Placement Officer, you will arrange and monitor the progress of full-time students on industry placements. Working in a team, sourcing learners, pre-screening and facilitating pre-interview preparation for all vacancies to ensure a high-quality placement service is provided in order to support learners and businesses for mutual success.

Responsibilities
- Arrange and monitor extended work placements for full time students
- Manage an agreed caseload of learners with minimum supervision to agreed timescales and standards.
- Responsible for risk assessments and Health and Safety issues that may relate to students within the workplace.
- Support tutors in the visiting schedule for all students.
- Assist in the administration with the recording of work placement activities.
- Promote the College’s curriculum programmes to employers and prospective learners.
- Attend internal and external meetings and events and report on learner progress.
- Maintain auditable records and record progress of learners on Pro Monitor
What We’re Looking For
- Practical experience working in industry
- Understanding of T Levels and industry placements requirements (e.g., safeguarding, placement hours, employer engagement).
- Experience in liaising with employers and supporting students in finding and completing placements.
