We are seeking a Work Related and Placement Learning Manager to join our team
In this role, you will coordinate work-related activity across the College, including work experience, T Level industry placements, and other employer-led learning, ensuring all learners and employers benefit from a consistent, high-quality, and compliant experience.
About the role:
- Design and maintain a College-wide framework for all work-related activity, setting clear processes, responsibilities, and quality standards.
- Develop and review all policies and procedures for work-related activity, in line with DfE requirements and funding rules.
- Coordinate work-related activity across all curriculum areas, ensuring every learner has meaningful experience of work and planned hours are achieved.
- Ensure a consistent learner experience of work-related activity, regardless of programme of study.
- Work with Inclusive Learning Support and curriculum teams to make work-related activity accessible to all learners.
- Ensure a consistent, professional experience for all employers involved in work-related activity.
- Secure and develop employer capacity for work experience and T Level industry placements, referring wider opportunities to the relevant College teams.

Essential Experience:
- Experience of employer engagement, business development, or partnership working within education, training, or industry.
- Experience of developing and maintaining effective employer or stakeholder relationships, including engagement with senior-level contacts.
- Experience of working within education, skills, training, or workforce development.
- Experience of coordinating projects, partnerships, or cross-organisational initiatives.
- Experience of supporting industry placements, work experience, T Levels, or employer-led learning activities.
- Experience of working collaboratively with curriculum teams and external stakeholders.
- Experience of producing and using performance information to monitor progress against targets and identify areas for action.

Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or C and above / CSE Level 1 / O-Level C or above / Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy or equivalent.
- Educated to Level 3 or equivalent professional experience in employer engagement, business development, account management, education, or a related field.
