About the job you’re considering

We are looking for an experienced Workday Functional Consultant to join our Workday Practice, with a specific focus on Application Managed Services (AMS), optimisation and continuous improvement for live Workday environments. This is an office-based role in Manchester for someone who combines Workday functional knowledge, hands-on configuration experience, service delivery discipline and strong consulting skills. You will collaborate with client stakeholders, service teams, functional specialists, technical colleagues, integration teams and delivery leads to resolve issues, deliver enhancements and identify opportunities to improve HR processes and Workday adoption.

Your role

As a Workday Functional Consultant focused on AMS and Optimisation, you will support the delivery of high-quality Workday managed services, enhancements and optimisation initiatives. You will analyse client requirements, configure and test Workday changes, resolve functional issues, support service requests and contribute to continuous improvement activity across live Workday environments. You will be expected to bring a modern consulting mindset: practical, service-focused, outcome-led and comfortable helping clients understand how to use Workday capabilities, data, automation and emerging AI-enabled functionality responsibly and effectively. You will also support knowledge transfer, documentation and reusable service assets that help build a scalable AMS capability from the Manchester office.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
