Job Title

Workday Cutover Lead

Location

Remote with occasional need for London onsite

Overview / Role Summary

Focus Cloud is supporting our client with a critical phase of their Workday programme and we’re looking for an experienced Workday Cutover Lead to take ownership of cutover planning and execution end-to-end. This is a hands-on delivery role, partnering closely with Finance stakeholders, Workday functional leads, testing, data, and deployment teams to ensure a controlled, low-risk go-live.

Benefits / Value Proposition

  • Contract role on a high-impact Workday delivery
  • Clear ownership: you will lead the cutover workstream and drive decision-making
  • On-site collaboration with key programme stakeholders
  • Opportunity to work across Workday Financials and wider deployment activities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the cutover strategy, cutover plan, and runbook (including dress rehearsals and go/no-go criteria)
  • Build and manage the integrated cutover schedule across Workday streams (Finance, data, integrations, security, reporting, testing)
  • Coordinate cutover dependencies, resource plans, and environment readiness
  • Own cutover governance: RAID, checkpoints, approvals, and readiness reporting
  • Drive execution during cutover window(s), including command centre / hypercare handover
  • Ensure clear comms and stakeholder alignment across business and technical teams

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
