Are you ready to anchor your career to a landmark digital transformation?
Talent International has partnered with a public sector organisation to find an exceptional Workday Consultant - Finance. This isn't just another system migration—you will be stepping onto the front lines of the largest Workday implementation in the UK.
This is a rare, career-defining opportunity to shape an enterprise-scale ecosystem, influence strategic architecture, and build a resume-defining legacy. If you thrive on complex challenges, high-impact technical leadership, and driving true innovation across massive shared service environments, this is where you belong.
The Mission

You'll serve as the go-to expert across the full financial ecosystem, driving cutting-edge configuration, process optimisation, and strategic decision-making.
Key Frontiers You Will Conquer
- Trailblaze and Lead: Act as the technical authority across General Ledger, AP, AR, Expenses, Assets, Projects, and Financial Reporting, setting best-practice benchmarks for the entire delivery ecosystem.
- Architect the Future: Provide high-level technical assurance, peer-review complex designs from system integrators, and steer roadmap planning for massive enterprise cloud platforms.
- Drive High-Stakes Delivery: Lead complex end-to-end design and configuration, manage ticket architecture across AMS teams, and enforce high-performance SLA frameworks.
- Elevate the Team: Coach, mentor, and level-up junior consultants and analysts, building capability and leading high-energy functional workshops with executive stakeholders.
- Safeguard Quality: Oversee rigorous testing environments (System, Integration, UAT) and act as the final escalation point for complex technical challenges.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
