Overview
We are working with a Workday implementer partner that has a substantial portfolio of upcoming Workday Financials functional projects in the pipeline across the UK, with projects starting in September through to the start of the new year.
We are interested in speaking with contractors and freelancers who hold active Workday Partner certifications and have strong hands-on functional configuration experience within one or more areas of Workday Financial Management.
The upcoming programmes will include Workday Financials implementations, transformations, enhancements and optimisation projects, with requirements ranging from specialist module consultants through to broader Financials functional consultants.

Typical Responsibilities
Depending on the project, responsibilities may include:
- Hands-on configuration of Workday Financials functionality
- Gathering and translating finance requirements into Workday solutions
- Leading or supporting functional design workshops
- Designing and configuring Business Processes
- Completing configuration changes, enhancements and optimisation
- Supporting end-to-end Workday Financials implementations
- Producing functional design and configuration documentation
- Supporting system, integration and user acceptance testing
- Troubleshooting functional and configuration issues
- Working closely with Finance, Workday technical teams and business stakeholders
- Supporting data migration, reconciliation and validation activities
- Advising clients on Workday Financials best practice
- Supporting deployment, go-live and post-production activities

Essential Requirements
- Active Workday Partner / Implementer certification
- Hands-on Workday Financials functional configuration experience
- Previous Workday implementation, deployment, enhancement or transformation experience
- Strong understanding of Workday Financial Management processes
- Ability to work independently within a consulting/project environment
- Strong stakeholder communication and requirements-gathering skills
- UK-based and able to work remotely
