Senior Workday HCM Consultant (Contract)
Location: UK (Remote)
Contract: Inside IR35
Start Date: September 2026
Clearance: SC or Eligible
Overview
We are supporting a major UK organisation that has recently secured a significant transformation programme and is looking to engage an experienced Senior Workday HCM Consultant on an initial contract basis. This is a fully remote opportunity, working as part of a high-performing Workday delivery team on a large-scale public sector programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of a large-scale Workday HCM transformation programme.
- Configure and optimise Workday HCM solutions to meet business requirements.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
- Participate in solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver reporting, analytics, and integration capabilities where required.
- Provide Workday best practice guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Experience
- Proven experience delivering Workday HCM implementations or transformation programmes.
- Strong experience with Workday HCM.
- Experience with Workday Prism Analytics and/or Workday Extend.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working within large, complex programme environments.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote delivery team.
- Candidates must hold active SC Clearance or be eligible to obtain SC Clearance.
