Workday HCM Implementation Lead
Salary: £85,000 - £95,000 – Fixed Term Contract – 6 Months subject to extension
Start: September
Location: Hampshire (hybrid working available) with international travel as required
Configured Recruitment is working on behalf of a truly global business based in Hampshire to recruit an experienced Workday HCM Implementation Lead. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the implementation of Workday HCM across the UK, Central Europe and Latin America, delivering a major HR transformation programme that will enhance the employee experience and support future business growth.
The successful candidate will be fluent in English, French and Spanish, with English and French being essential for the role. Spanish is strongly preferred due to the international scope of the position and the need to collaborate with teams across multiple regions.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will take ownership of the end-to-end implementation, working closely with senior stakeholders and managing the relationship with the third-party implementation partner to ensure the successful delivery of the project.

As the Workday HCM Implementation Lead, you will:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of Workday HCM across the UK, Central Europe and Latin America.
- Manage the third-party implementation partner, ensuring delivery against agreed scope, quality, budget and timescales.
- Work collaboratively with HR, Finance, IT and operational teams to gather business requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
- Provide technical oversight throughout system configuration, testing and deployment, validating solutions and challenging where appropriate.
- Champion the new HR platform across the organisation, driving engagement and user adoption.
- Develop and implement a user adoption strategy that maximises system utilisation and delivers an excellent employee experience.
- Design and deliver training programmes and supporting materials for managers and employees.
- Provide ongoing support following implementation, gathering feedback and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Manage project budgets, risks, issues and dependencies while ensuring strong governance throughout the implementation.
- Report progress to the Chief People Officer and Finance Director, ensuring agreed objectives, benefits and project outcomes are achieved.

About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Proven experience leading or supporting a Workday HCM implementation is essential across multiple countries.
- Experience managing third-party implementation partners and holding suppliers accountable for successful delivery.
- A strong understanding of HR system configuration with the ability to validate and challenge technical solutions.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing project budgets and delivering programmes within agreed financial parameters.
- A proven track record of leading organisational change and driving user adoption.
- Experience designing and delivering end-user training and support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and influencing skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- The ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced international environment.
