Our client is a leading global Workday partner. This role is supporting one of their clients on a 22 month contract basis focused on a Workday implementation

About the Role
As a Workday Program Manager, you will help drive results for a Global Client by overseeing a portfolio of Workday implementation, optimization, and transformation projects within a broader Client program. The role provides program-level leadership, governance, and strategic direction across multiple concurrent Workday projects, each managed by dedicated Project Managers. Working in close partnership with the Payroll Program Manager, the Workday Program Manager ensures alignment, dependency management, risk mitigation, and integrated delivery across Workday and Payroll workstreams. This role serves as a key client-facing leader who drives program outcomes, promotes collaboration across teams, and ensures delivery excellence throughout the program lifecycle. Location is home-based with occasional travel to Client sites across the globe (up to 10%)

Program Leadership
- Lead a portfolio of Workday projects delivered within a larger client transformation program, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and successfully transitioned to BAU operations.
- Provide strategic oversight and guidance to Project Managers responsible for individual Workday projects.

Program Governance
- Establish and maintain effective program governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication frameworks.
- Monitor program health, milestones, budgets, risks, issues, and resource utilization across all Workday projects.
- Ensure consistent application of delivery methodologies, standards, and quality controls.
Cross-Functional Program Management
- Partner closely with the Payroll Program Manager to manage interdependencies between Workday and Payroll workstreams.
- Ensure alignment of timelines, milestones, data migration, testing activities, cutover plans, and deployment strategies.
- Identify and proactively address cross-project risks, issues, and dependencies.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior Client and Strada stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Participate in Steering Committee meetings and executive governance forums.

- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and delivery excellence.
- Promote knowledge sharing and best practice adoption across the delivery organization.
Qualifications
Your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
Required Skills
- Significant experience managing complex, global, large-scale Workday implementation and transformation programs.
- Proven experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects and leading teams of Project Managers and cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of Workday HCM and associated Workday modules.
- Demonstrated success managing large stakeholder groups, including C-level and executive sponsors.
- Strong knowledge of program governance, risk management and financial management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent change.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with payroll transformation and payroll integration projects preferred.
- Experience working within global delivery organizations and complex matrix structures.
