Role Description
UST is seeking an experienced Workday HCM Time & Absence Functional Consultant to join our growing Workday practice. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role across Workday implementations, enhancements, and AMS support engagements for enterprise customers.
You will work closely with clients and delivery teams to design, configure, deploy, and optimise Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management solutions, ensuring successful outcomes and exceptional user experiences.
The Role
- Lead and deliver Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management solutions across implementation and support engagements.
- Participate in the full project lifecycle, including discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Gather requirements, provide functional expertise, and recommend best-practice Workday solutions.
- Manage deliverables, timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful project delivery.
- Troubleshoot issues, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive resolution activities.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal capability development.
- Represent UST within the Workday ecosystem, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices.
- Facilitate workshops, presentations, and stakeholder discussions with confidence and credibility.

What You Will Bring
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on Workday experience, including at least 3+ years focused on Time Tracking, Absence Management, Payroll, or related HCM modules.
- Current or previous Workday Certification in one or more HCM modules.
- Proven experience delivering Workday projects through the full lifecycle.
- Strong configuration expertise within Time Tracking and Absence Management.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and consulting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced client-facing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working in consulting, professional services, or enterprise delivery environments.

Nice To Have Skills
- Workday Payroll experience.
- Previous experience with HRIS platforms such as PeopleSoft or Oracle HCM.
- Experience supporting global HR processes and workforce management programmes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
