Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday integrations, particularly within Finance modules.
- Lead the research, design, development, testing, and delivery of new Workday integrations.
- Create detailed integration specifications, field mappings, and technical designs throughout the integration deployment lifecycle.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify problem areas and assess the overall impact of projects.
- Investigate integration failures, perform root cause analysis, and develop appropriate resolution plans.
- Understand data flows and system usage between internal systems and Workday, ensuring alignment with other system owners.
- Develop new and modify existing integrations between Workday and internal/external systems using technologies such as PGP/SSH key management, Calculated Fields, Custom Reports, EIBs, Document Transformation, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and Web Services.
- Provide production support for Workday integrations, resolving technical, process, and access-related issues.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams on the design, testing, implementation, and support of Workday integrations.
- Participate in technical walkthroughs covering integration changes, source code, and supporting documentation, providing feedback in line with established standards.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of relevant experience with Workday Studio.
- 5+ years of experience with integration technologies, including Web Services, XML, XSLT, SOAP, and Java.
- Strong experience building integrations and solutions around Workday Finance applications — mandatory.
- Experience with requirements documentation and providing input on process and solution design.
- Strong ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge-sharing and collaboration skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies through formal training and self-learning.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate alternative solutions and perspectives.
