Role: Workday Integration Architect

Location: London, UK (Onsite)
Is it Permanent/ Contract: 6 – 12 months Contract
Is it Onsite/Remote/Hybrid: Onsite

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on large collections of Workday integrations (Finance modules)
  • Lead the research, design, development, testing, and delivery of new Workday Integrations
  • Create detailed integration specifications, field mappings, and designs to support the entire integration deployment life-cycle
  • Work with business stakeholders to determine problem areas and overall impact of projects
  • Research integration failures, perform root cause analyses, and report back to management and business leaders. Develop plans to move forward the overall Workday strategy
  • Understand data flows and system usage between internal systems and Workday, driving alignment with other system owners
  • Develop new and modify existing integrations from Workday to internal and external clients using Workday technologies including PGP / SSH key management, calculated fields, custom reports, EIBs, Document Transformation, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Web Services, etc.
  • Provide production support for clients on Workday integrations, including addressing inquiries on the technology, processes, or user access to resolve issues
  • Partner with business clients to gather and document business requirements
  • Partner with colleagues in the design, testing and support of Workday integrations
  • Participate in walk-throughs which review integration changes, source code, and all technical supporting documentation, while providing feedback in accordance with department standards and guidelines

  • 5+ years relevant experience with Workday Studio
  • 5+ years relevant experience with integration technologies such as Web Services, XML, XSLT, SOAP and Java
  • Experience with building integrations and solutions around Workday Finance applications (mandatory)
  • Experience with requirements documentation, including ability to provide feedback on design of processes
  • Ability to build and develop strong client relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Passionate about knowledge sharing
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
  • Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with clients and co-workers in a positive manner that engenders confidence and trust
  • Good problem solver with ability to consider alternative and diverse perspectives
