Workday Integrations & Extend Principal Consultant
Permanent | UK | Hybrid
Lead the Technical Direction of Complex Workday Transformation
Operate at the forefront of Workday technology—leading integration and Extend architecture across complex client transformations, shaping technical strategy and helping organisations unlock significantly more value from their Workday investment.
You'll join a high-calibre Workday consulting environment where Principal Consultants are trusted to lead from the front. You'll work directly with clients, influence critical solution decisions and bring together integration, automation and Extend capabilities to solve problems that standard Workday configuration cannot.
This is a role for a senior technical consultant who wants more than delivery ownership. You'll have the opportunity to shape solutions, mentor consultants, contribute to winning new business and help define the technical capability of the wider practice.
What You'll Do
- Lead Integration and Extend workstreams across medium to large Workday transformations.
- Own technical design decisions across complex integration and Extend solutions.
- Lead client workshops and act as a trusted technical advisor throughout delivery.
- Shape scalable solutions across Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, APIs, Web Services and Workday Extend.
- Work across functional, reporting, security and data teams to deliver joined-up solutions.
- Support solutioning, estimates, proposals and client presentations as part of the wider growth of the practice.
- Mentor consultants and developers while contributing to technical standards, reusable assets and practice development.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
