Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Workday Learning Lead / Architect to support the successful delivery of Workday projects across a variety of client environments.

Responsibilities

In this client-facing role, you will lead the design and implementation of Workday Learning solutions, partnering with clients to develop scalable learning strategies that enhance employee development, compliance, and business performance.

  • Leading the solution design and architecture of Workday Learning implementations and enhancements.
  • Acting as the primary functional Subject Matter Expert for Workday Learning.
  • Facilitating client workshops to gather requirements and define future-state learning processes.
  • Advising clients on Workday Learning best practices and industry trends.
  • Designing scalable and sustainable learning solutions aligned to business objectives.
  • Supporting configuration teams through design guidance and governance.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships and providing trusted advisory services.
  • Conducting solution reviews, fit-gap analyses, and optimisation assessments.
  • Supporting testing, deployment, user acceptance testing, and go-live activities.
  • Assisting clients with learning content management, compliance training, and learning administration processes.
  • Keeping current with Workday Learning product enhancements and roadmap developments.

Must Have Skills Required

  • Proven experience as a Workday Learning Lead, Architect, Senior Consultant, or Solution Consultant.
  • More than 5 years hands-on experience implementing and supporting Workday Learning.
  • Experience leading Workday Learning workstreams through the full project lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of Learning & Development, compliance training, skills development, and employee enablement processes.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and engaging with senior business stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical Workday Learning solutions.
  • Strong consulting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading design decisions and providing architectural governance.
  • Workday Learning Certification.
  • Experience working within consulting, professional services, or client-facing environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Other Qualifications/Skills That Will Be Beneficial but Not Mandatory

  • Experience with Skills Cloud, Career Development, Talent Marketplace, or Succession Planning.
  • Knowledge of learning standards such as SCORM, AICC, or xAPI.
  • Global Workday deployment experience.
  • Knowledge of change management and user adoption strategies.
