Job Description & Summary
About the role
PwC are celebrating a decade of successful Workday project delivery with major UK and global clients. To capitalise on this success, we are currently looking for experienced Workday P2P/O2C Lead to join our established and growing Workday Consulting Team.
What your days will look like
- Own end-to-end delivery for multi-workstream Workday Financials programmes spanning P2P/O2C, from discovery and design through to deployment and post-go-live assurance.
- Define solution architecture across Procurement, Supplier Accounts, Expenses, Banking & Settlement, Customers, Receivables, Billing/Revenue, Tax and Accounting, ensuring a coherent design with Controls and R2R.
- Lead executive-level workshops, challenge requirements, and translate business objectives into pragmatic Workday designs and delivery plans.
- Shape data, integration and reporting strategies (incl. supplier/customer masters, invoice processing, bank reconciliations, settlements, dunning, revenue operations).
- Set delivery standards, manage RAID, ensure quality gates, and govern onshore/offshore delivery teams; mentor managers and senior consultants.
- Drive commercial outcomes: scope, estimates, proposals and change control; support proposition development and business development.
- Ensure regulatory, tax and control requirements are embedded (e.g., segregation of duties, audit readiness, e-invoicing/PEPPOL where relevant).
- Partner across HR/Financials, Integrations, Prism/Accounting Centre and Adaptive to deliver cross-platform value.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
