Job Title: Workday Payroll Analyst
Location: Midlands / Hybrid
Job Type: Permanent / Full-Time
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Workday Payroll Analyst to support the ongoing configuration, optimisation, and service management of Workday Payroll.
Position Overview
You will provide hands-on Workday Payroll expertise, supporting configuration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement while providing Tier 1 & Tier 2 support to Payroll, HR, and People Systems teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Workday Payroll configuration, development, and optimisation
- Provide Tier 1 & Tier 2 Workday Payroll support
- Own and resolve incidents, service requests, and system issues
- Troubleshoot Workday Payroll and investigate root causes
- Support and maintain Workday Payroll business processes
- Work closely with HR, Payroll, and wider People Systems teams
- Support Workday releases, testing, and system enhancements
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimisation
- Assist with the ongoing stability and performance of the Workday Payroll platform

Qualifications
- Strong hands-on Workday Payroll experience
- Proven Workday Payroll configuration experience
- Experience providing Tier 1 & Tier 2 support
- Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution skills
- Good understanding of Workday Payroll business processes
- Experience supporting Workday releases, testing, and system changes
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively with HR, Payroll, and People Systems teams
