Workday Peakon Principal Consultant

The Workday Peakon Principal Consultant is a senior functional consultant responsible for leading the design, configuration, and delivery of Workday Peakon Employee Voice solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor, this individual helps organisations measure, understand, and improve employee engagement through continuous listening, workforce insights, and actionable feedback programmes.

The Principal Consultant combines deep Peakon expertise with delivery leadership, pre-sales support, and mentoring responsibilities. They work closely with clients to design employee listening strategies, configure Peakon solutions, and leverage workforce insights to drive engagement, retention, and organisational performance.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Workday Peakon Employee Voice subject matter expert, providing guidance on employee engagement, continuous listening, and workforce feedback strategies.
  • Lead client workshops and discovery sessions to define employee listening programmes aligned to business objectives.
  • Design and configure Workday Peakon solutions, including surveys, confidentiality settings, driver analysis, dashboards, and action planning frameworks.
  • Advise clients on engagement measurement, employee sentiment analysis, and organisational improvement initiatives.
  • Lead Peakon workstreams on medium to large Workday implementations, managing solution decisions, risks, and dependencies.
  • Partner with HCM, Talent, Learning, Change Management, Reporting, and Employee Experience teams to deliver integrated workforce solutions.
  • Support testing, deployment, cutover, and post-go-live transition activities.
  • Provide guidance on survey design, engagement drivers, manager enablement, and action planning best practices.
  • Mentor consultants and analysts, providing coaching, quality reviews, and functional leadership.
  • Support business development activities including solutioning, estimations, proposals, demonstrations, and customer presentations.
  • Contribute to practice development through internal training, asset creation, methodology enhancements, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Maintain expertise in Workday Peakon functionality, employee engagement trends, and workforce analytics innovations.

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Active Workday Peakon Employee Voice Certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of Workday implementation experience.
  • Experience leading Workday Peakon, HCM, Talent, or Employee Experience workstreams on end-to-end implementations.
  • Strong understanding of employee engagement, employee listening programmes, organisational culture, change management, and workforce experience strategies.
  • Experience configuring surveys, engagement reporting, dashboards, driver analysis, and action planning processes.
  • Experience gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Experience supporting pre-sales activities including estimations, proposals, and solution presentations.
  • Strong consulting, stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to mentor team members and provide functional leadership across projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Eligible for SC Clearance - you must have been a UK resident for the last five years and be legally entitled to work in the UK.
  • Minimal travel required, but must be willing to travel on-site as needed.
