Role: Workday PECI Integration Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Workday PECI Integration Consultant to work with our global customer to design, develop, enhance, and support Workday Payroll Integrations, with a focus on PECI, PICOF, EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, and Payroll Interfaces. The consultant will work closely with HR, Payroll, and technical teams to ensure accurate transmission of employee data from Workday to third-party payroll systems.

Key Responsibilities

Workday Payroll Integrations

  • Design, configure, and maintain Workday PECI and PICOF integrations.
  • Develop and support payroll-related inbound and outbound integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, and Web Services.
  • Configure payroll mappings, eligibility rules, calculated fields, and transformation logic.
  • Ensure accurate transfer of employee lifecycle events, compensation changes, job changes, and payroll data.

Functional & Technical Support

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into Workday integration solutions.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and IT teams to troubleshoot payroll integration issues.
  • Perform impact analysis for Workday releases and payroll-related enhancements.
  • Monitor integration runs, investigate errors, and resolve interface failures.

Testing & Deployment

  • Prepare test scenarios and support SIT, UAT, and payroll parallel testing.
  • Validate payroll data accuracy during implementation and production support activities.
  • Support deployment activities, migration, and post-production stabilization.

AMS & Production Support

  • Provide L2/L3 support for payroll integrations.
  • Monitor scheduled integrations and proactively address failures.
  • Maintain integration documentation, runbooks, and knowledge repositories.
  • Ensure compliance with audit and payroll data security requirements.

Experience

  • U4: 7+ years overall experience with strong expertise in PECI/PICOF and payroll integrations.
  • Primary Skills: Workday PECI, PICOF, Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, Payroll Integrations
  • Secondary Skills: Workday HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, Reporting, XSLT/XML
