Workday Prism Analytics Consultant

Location: London (Hybrid)
Contract Length: 12 Months
Rate: Competitive Daily Rate (Inside IR35)

Overview

We are supporting a leading enterprise organisation undergoing a major Workday transformation and are seeking an experienced Workday Prism Analytics Consultant to join the programme on an initial 12-month contract.

This role will play a key part in designing, building, and delivering advanced analytics solutions within the Workday ecosystem, enabling business stakeholders to gain meaningful insights from large and complex datasets. The successful consultant will work closely with Workday Financials, HR, Reporting, and Integration teams to develop scalable reporting and analytics capabilities across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Workday Prism Analytics solutions.
  • Build complex data pipelines, datasets, and analytical models within Prism.
  • Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources into Workday Prism.
  • Create dashboards, KPIs, and advanced reports using Workday reporting tools.
  • Develop calculated fields and support the creation of advanced reporting frameworks.
  • Work closely with Functional and Technical Workday consultants across Financials, HCM, and Integrations.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across reporting environments.
  • Support UAT, defect resolution, cutover activities, and post-go-live hypercare.
  • Provide best-practice guidance around Workday analytics architecture and reporting strategy.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience delivering Workday Prism Analytics solutions within enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of Workday Reporting, including: Advanced Reports / Matrix Reports / Composite Reports / Calculated Fields
  • Experience loading, transforming, and modelling data within Workday Prism.
  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
  • Experience working with Workday Financials and/or Workday HCM data models.
  • Experience gathering requirements and engaging senior business stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Workday security and reporting security frameworks.
  • Previous experience supporting full Workday implementation or optimisation programmes.

Desirable Skills

  • Workday Pro Certified.
  • Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning and Workday Accounting Center
  • Knowledge of Azure, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, or other enterprise analytics platforms.
  • Previous experience within Financial Services, Insurance, Banking, or Large Enterprise environments.
  • Experience working on global Workday deployments.

Ideal Candidate

You will be an experienced Workday Analytics professional with a strong track record of delivering Prism solutions in complex environments. You will be comfortable working with both technical and business stakeholders and capable of turning large datasets into meaningful business insights that drive decision-making.
