Workday Program Manager – Global Energy Transformation Program
Location: Home-based, with up to 10% international travel to client sites

The Opportunity
A global payroll and HR technology services provider is looking for an experienced Workday Program Manager to lead a portfolio of Workday projects within a major transformation program for a global client in the Energy sector.
This is a senior, client-facing leadership role. You will lead the overall program, oversee several Workday projects running at the same time, and manage the Project Managers who deliver each one. You will work alongside the Payroll Program Manager to make sure the Workday and Payroll workstreams are delivered together.

What You'll Do
- Lead a portfolio of Workday implementation, optimisation and transformation projects, delivering on time, in scope and on budget through to BAU handover.
- Set up and run program governance, reporting and stakeholder communication, tracking milestones, budgets, risks, issues and resourcing across all projects.
- Work with the Payroll Program Manager to manage dependencies across data migration, testing, cutover and deployment, and deal with cross-project risks early.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders and executive sponsors, and take part in Steering Committees and executive governance forums.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Project Managers, building a culture of accountability, collaboration and high-quality delivery.
What You'll Bring

- Significant experience leading complex, global, large-scale Workday implementation and transformation programs.
- A track record of overseeing multiple concurrent projects and leading teams of Project Managers.
- Strong working knowledge of Workday HCM and related modules.
- Experience managing C-level stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Strong program governance, risk management and financial management skills.
- Experience working in global delivery organisations and matrix structures.
- Payroll transformation or payroll integration experience is a strong advantage.
