Workday Project Manager
Location: London, UK
Duration: Approximately 1 year
Work Mode: Hybrid – 40% onsite (approximately 2 days/week)
Alternative locations: Leeds, Edinburgh or Aberdeen may be considered if candidates can attend the respective office.
Role
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage multiple small-scale projects within a wider Workday ecosystem transformation and change roadmap. The role is focused on project delivery, stakeholder management and coordination rather than deep technical Workday expertise. Experience working across ERP, SaaS, Agile/DevSecOps or adjacent enterprise technology environments would be highly relevant.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple small projects in parallel, typically valued at approximately £50k–£200k each.
- Deliver projects as part of a 2–3 year roadmap of changes across the Workday ecosystem.
- Manage delivery across Workday-related platforms and adjacent products, including:
- Workday
- Peakon
- Adaptive
- Extend
- Prism
- Report into the Workday Product Group Owner.
- Manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and delivery outcomes.
- Liaise with senior stakeholders across HR, Finance and Technology.
- Coordinate with the ERP DevSecOps delivery team, Cognizant AMS supplier and Workday support teams.
- Work within an Agile and DevSecOps delivery environment, particularly across SaaS and low-code/no-code solutions.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between business stakeholders, technology teams and third-party suppliers.
- Support delivery of multiple concurrent changes while maintaining visibility of priorities, timelines and dependencies.

Essential Experience

- Proven experience as a Project Manager / IT Project Manager managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Experience managing projects in the approximate £50k–£200k range.
- Strong stakeholder management experience, including senior stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Understanding or practical experience of DevSecOps delivery models.
- Experience working with SaaS and/or low-code/no-code platforms.
- Experience with ERP or ERP-adjacent systems.
- Strong coordination skills across internal technology teams and external suppliers.
- Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies, timelines and project governance.
- Jira experience is preferred.
