The Workday Project Manager
The Workday Project Manager manages the successful delivery of post-implementation Tier 3 services on the Workday platform (HCM, Financials, and Payroll) to strategic and high-growth potential clients. The Workday Project Manager acts as the primary delivery contact for clients, provides hands-on delivery of solutions, seeks opportunities for strategic partnership and growth, and partners with key internal client stakeholders.
YOUR MISSIONS
Client Relationships Management
- Provide service leadership to a portfolio of Workday clients (typically, 4-5 strategic or high-potential clients).
- Proactively build partnership and bring the best of 3Plus to our clients through consultative engagement.
- Maintain client optimization and product roadmaps in partnership with clients and internal 3Plus service line owners.
- Acts as a proven Workday practitioner and trusted advisor to our clients.
- Manage and foster strong relationships with aligned clients, and their associated Workday partner execs.
- Act as the first escalation point for delivery concerns and new requests.
- Partner with 3Plus and HR Path Executives, solutions, and the Sales Team in growing existing client revenue and winning new client business.
- Participate in and lead client governance meetings as required; produce required documentation & metrics including reporting out on service utilization, and SLA performance.
- Bring insights to our clients based on use-cases, solutions, and experience we have gained across the wider 3Plus and HRP client base.

Delivery Management
- Manage the intake of client requests process, conduct primary triage, and coordinate delivery with 3Plus subject-matter experts.
- Manage delivery within the capacity allocated within the contracts; adhere to 3Plus best practices & policies; perform monthly variance analysis in terms of service usage and forecasts.
- Manage client delivery through coordination with internal functional and technical SMEs, assessment, and confirmation of work alignment to scope and engagement with internal and client teams to maintain task momentum and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate and lead internal and client-facing meetings needed to prioritize work, deliver tasks, track/report status, address project risks, and other actions as needed.
- Manage client expectations and resolve gaps through coordination with client stakeholders, 3Plus’s delivery teams, and leadership.
- Allocate the appropriate resources to tasks by working with the resource manager, service lead, and people managers. Provide coaching and feedback when appropriate to 3Plus team members assigned to client engagements.
- Seek innovative solutions to proactively help our clients to attain better value realization from the service and from their Workday investment.
YOUR PROFILE
- 5+ years of account management/service delivery experience in technical solutions delivery (SaaS) (i.e., service delivery of technology solutions to internal or external clients preferably on Workday).
- 8+ years of experience working in Human Resources Information System (HRIS) or Financial Applications consulting or similar project delivery experience.
- Experience in configuring, managing, and delivering business application solutions (preferably on Workday) via a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in technical, business, or financial discipline.
- Workday application certification as required or preferred according to the platform being supported; in cases where certification is required for the role, candidates that are not certified will be considered for the role, but they will need to successfully pass any required certification(s) as well as ongoing successful re-certification per platform requirements.
- Ability to effectively and clearly interface, build trust, and credibility with colleagues, platform vendors, and clients.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to synthesize information into clear, concise messages. Recognizes and tackles difficult conversations proactively; strong soft skills that facilitate resolution and a win-win approach.
- Proven consultative skills to guide client and internal discussions to agreement of solutions in a timely manner.
- Experience implementing complex, practical business solutions under multiple deadlines; adept at managing multiple clients and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven experience working creatively and analytically in a dynamic environment.
- Proven experience demonstrating initiative and curiosity to build skills in other areas by leveraging available trainings and platform documentation.
