Job Title
We are seeking an experienced Workday Project Manager to drive a time-bound HR technology transformation. The initial focus is the migration from People EP to Workday HCM, where implementation activity has already begun and the priority is to complete the migration of relevant data and support a successful implementation. The role will then support the migration from Cornerstone to the Workday Learning and Development module, bringing both streams through delivery in a structured, outcome-focused way.
This is a hands-on project-management role for someone with strong practical knowledge of Workday who can drive implementation activity, keep delivery moving and get things done. You will work closely with HR, IT, business stakeholders and the external implementation partner to coordinate the work required for a successful deployment and adoption of the new platform.
The current scope covers Workday HCM and Learning and Development. Payroll is expressly out of scope for this solution. A separate Sharedo implementation may follow at a later point; however, this is a distinct project and is not part of the initial Workday contract scope.
Key Responsibilities
- You will take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of the Workday implementation, ensuring that the People EP-to-Workday HCM migration progresses effectively from its current stage through data migration, implementation and adoption. You will maintain a clear delivery plan, coordinate activities across stakeholders and ensure that priorities, actions, decisions and blockers are visible and actively managed.
- You will lead the delivery of the second migration stream from Cornerstone to the Workday Learning and Development module. You will work with the relevant teams and implementation partner to coordinate the movement to Workday, ensuring the workstream is planned, integrated with the wider programme and focused on a successful transition.
- You will act as the lead project manager in engagements with the implementation partner. You will provide clear direction, coordinate the activities of internal teams and the partner, challenge delivery risks where appropriate and ensure that commitments, dependencies and decisions are followed through.
- You will work closely with HR, IT and business stakeholders to align delivery activity with operational needs and to support the adoption of Workday HCM and Learning. You will communicate progress, risks, dependencies and required decisions clearly, helping stakeholders remain informed and engaged throughout the implementation.
- You will keep the programme focused on the agreed scope, ensuring that payroll remains outside the solution and that any potential future Sharedo implementation is treated as a separate initiative.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Must-Have Skills
Workday Implementation Knowledge
CRITICAL
You have practical knowledge of Workday and experience supporting or leading Workday implementation activity. You understand what is required to drive an implementation forward, work effectively with an implementation partner and translate delivery priorities into clear actions. You are confident working in a hands-on role where momentum, problem-solving and follow-through are essential.
Workday HCM Migration Delivery
CORE
You have experience managing HR-system migrations or comparable Workday HCM delivery, including the coordination of data-migration activity. You can bring structure to a programme that is already underway, establish clarity on outstanding work and dependencies, and guide stakeholders through implementation toward a successful transition to Workday HCM.
Learning and Development System Migration

You have experience delivering, or a strong understanding of, HR learning-system implementations or migrations. You can coordinate the move from a legacy learning platform, such as Cornerstone, to the Workday Learning and Development module, ensuring that this workstream is planned and managed alongside the HCM implementation.
End-to-End Project Management

Why Join
