VirtualResource is looking for an experienced Workday Recruiting Functional Consultant to join our growing consulting team. In this client-facing role, you will support the design, configuration, optimisation, and delivery of Workday Recruiting solutions for a variety of clients.

As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand recruitment processes and business requirements, translating these into effective Workday Recruiting solutions that enhance candidate experiences, improve recruiter effectiveness, and support organisational hiring goals.

As a VR consultant, you'll enjoy the flexibility of working remotely while collaborating with clients and colleagues across multiple locations. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, strong stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic consulting environment.

Job Description

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the implementation, optimisation, and enhancement of Workday Recruiting solutions.
  • Gathering and analysing business requirements through client workshops and stakeholder engagement.
  • Translating business needs into scalable Workday Recruiting configurations and solutions.
  • Advising clients on Workday Recruiting best practices and process improvements.
  • Configuring and supporting recruiting business processes, candidate workflows, and recruiting functionality.
  • Supporting testing activities, including system testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Assisting with deployment, post-go-live support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Creating and maintaining project documentation, process flows, and solution designs.
  • Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted Workday advisor.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional Workday consultants and project teams to deliver successful client outcomes.
  • Staying up to date with Workday Recruiting enhancements and industry trends.

Must-Have Skills Required

  • Minimum 3 years' experience working with the Workday Recruiting module.
  • Experience configuring and supporting Workday Recruiting business processes and functionality.
  • Previous Workday implementation or optimisation experience within a consulting or client-facing environment.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes and candidate lifecycle management.
  • Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into practical Workday solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Workday Recruiting Certification.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Other Qualifications/Skills That Will Be Beneficial but Not Mandatory

  • Experience with additional Workday modules such as HCM, Talent, Learning, or Onboarding.
  • Experience supporting global or multi-country Workday deployments.
  • Experience with recruiting process optimisation and transformation initiatives.
  • Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • Previous experience within HR, Talent Acquisition, or Recruitment Operations.
  • Customer service or consulting experience.
  • Additional HR technology certifications or relevant software training.
