Workday Reporting Lead

Own the Reporting Strategy Behind a New Workday Data Model
Take ownership of reporting and analytics at the heart of a major Workday transformation—ensuring a new governed data model is designed around how the business actually needs to understand and use its people data.
This isn't a reporting clean-up exercise. You'll be shaping the future-state reporting architecture alongside the data model itself, making sure reporting requirements are understood early, designed properly and built into the transformation rather than addressed after migration.
You'll operate at the intersection of HR, data, technology and analytics, working with senior stakeholders and technical delivery teams to turn complex business requirements into a reporting landscape that is accurate, trusted and genuinely useful.
What You'll Do
- Own the global reporting and analytics strategy across the new Workday data model.
- Lead the audit of the existing reporting landscape and define what should be retained, redesigned, replaced or retired.
- Shape future-state reporting requirements across HR, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Reward and wider business functions.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for SI and technical delivery teams.
- Work alongside the Migration Lead to identify reporting impacts before data model decisions become costly downstream issues.
- Own reporting-focused data validation, ensuring migrated data produces accurate and trustworthy business insight.
- Shape the right use of Workday reporting, Discovery Boards, Prism and wider people analytics platforms such as Visier.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
