Job Description

Are you an experienced HRIS Systems Assistant looking to take the next step in your career? We’re offering an exciting opportunity to join our global HRIS team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with HR systems, administration and data, solving problems across a global organisation.

About the Role

Workday System Assistant to support our HRIS team. You will help maintain employee data accuracy, troubleshoot basic user requests, assist with testing during system updates, and ensure our workforce can navigate the Workday platform smoothly. This is an ideal role for an organised professional looking to grow a career in HR technology and system administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Maintenance: Audit and maintain accurate HRIS records, including processing new hires, promotions, organisational updates, and personal information changes.
  • User Support & Troubleshooting: Serve as a frontline point of contact for employee and HR questions regarding system access, navigation, and basic operations. Maintain data integrity, security, and SOX compliance controls.
  • Assist with administrative testing during Workday's bi-annual release cycles and help document changes or new features.
  • Process Documentation: Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), user guides, and training materials for internal staff.
  • Collaboration: Act as a liaison between employees, the HR team, and senior HRIS/IT specialists to escalate complex technical issues.
  • Reporting Support: Run standard reports and assist in verifying data integrity across HR and payroll functions.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience of Workday experience in HR administration, IT support, or managing business software/SaaS.
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong computer literacy with a proven ability to learn enterprise software quickly.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on data accuracy and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
  • Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills to support end-users and collaborate across departments.
