We are looking for a highly skilled Workday Talent, Performance & Learning Architect to join our consulting team and support the successful delivery of Workday projects across diverse client environments.

Job Description

You will partner with clients to design and implement innovative Workday Talent and Learning solutions, providing expert guidance on best practices and helping organisations achieve their workforce transformation goals.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the design and architecture of Workday Talent, Performance, Succession, Learning, Career Development, and Skills Cloud solutions.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients on best practice talent management and learning strategies.
  • Facilitating discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions with key business stakeholders.
  • Translating business requirements into scalable Workday solution designs.
  • Providing functional leadership throughout all phases of the implementation lifecycle.
  • Creating and maintaining solution design documentation and architectural artefacts.
  • Advising clients on Workday leading practices and future product capabilities.
  • Supporting configuration teams by providing solution guidance and design governance.
  • Collaborating with project managers, technical consultants, and client teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Conducting solution reviews, gap assessments, and process optimisation exercises.
  • Leading functional testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment readiness activities.
  • Managing stakeholder expectations and building strong client relationships.
  • Supporting organisational change management and user adoption initiatives.
  • Mentoring and coaching consultants and junior team members within the practice.
  • Contributing to internal capability development, knowledge sharing, and innovation initiatives.
  • Supporting business development activities, including solution demonstrations, proposals, and client presentations.
  • Staying current with Workday product enhancements and emerging industry trends.

Must have Experience & Skills Required

  • Proven experience as a Workday Architect, Solution Architect, specialising in Talent, Performance, and Learning.
  • Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience implementing and optimising:
    • Workday Talent Management
    • Performance Management
    • Succession Planning
    • Learning (Desired)
    • Career Development
    • Skills Cloud
  • Experience leading end-to-end Workday implementation projects within consulting or professional services environments.
  • Strong understanding of HR operating models, talent management frameworks, learning strategies, and workforce development practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to design scalable and sustainable Workday solutions for complex organisations.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical and effective Workday solutions.
  • Strong business process design and transformation experience.
  • Excellent consulting, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience supporting testing, deployment, and post-go-live optimisation activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in client-facing consulting environments.
  • Relevant Workday certifications in Talent, Performance, and/or Learning.
  • 7+ years of HR technology consulting experience, with significant Workday expertise.

Other Qualifications/Skills that will be beneficial but not mandatory

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Typically Additional Workday certifications across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, or Absence.
  • Global Workday deployment experience.
  • People leadership, team management, and mentoring experience.
  • Knowledge of change management methodologies and adoption frameworks.
  • Exposure to data migration, integrations, or cross-functional Workday solution design.
