Workday Tax Technology Manager (ERP Focus)
Location: UK Wide (Hybrid & Flexible Working)
Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits

Here at Akkodis, we're partnering with a leading global consultancy that is continuing to invest heavily in its growing Tax Technology and ERP Transformation team.
As part of this expansion, they're looking for a Tax Technology Manager to support clients through major ERP transformation programmes, with a particular focus on Workday.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with some of the world's leading organisations as they modernise their finance and tax landscapes, improve compliance, and drive automation through enterprise technology platforms.
You'll join a collaborative team delivering complex ERP-enabled transformation projects, helping clients design, implement, and optimise tax processes within modern finance systems.

The Opportunity
As a Tax Technology Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering ERP and tax transformation initiatives across a range of industries.
Working closely with clients, technology teams, and business stakeholders, you'll help organisations maximise the value of their ERP investments while ensuring tax processes are embedded effectively within their finance systems.

What You'll Be Doing
ERP & Tax Transformation
- Support the delivery of large-scale ERP and Finance Transformation programmes.
- Design and optimise tax processes within Workday.
- Work with clients to improve indirect tax, compliance, reporting, and automation capabilities.
- Help organisations modernise legacy finance processes and technologies.
- Support ERP implementation, enhancement, and optimisation projects.

Solution Design & Delivery
- Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technology solutions.
- Support solution design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation optimisation.
- Collaborate with finance, tax, and technology teams throughout project lifecycles.
- Ensure ERP solutions align with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation and process innovation.
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
- Provide guidance on ERP-related tax considerations and best practice.
- Act as a trusted advisor throughout transformation programmes.
Team Leadership
- Lead project workstreams and oversee key deliverables.
- Mentor and support junior team members.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices within the wider team.
- Support successful project delivery across multiple engagements.
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
- Experience working within ERP, Finance Transformation, Tax Technology, or ERP Implementation environments.
- Strong understanding of tax and finance processes within ERP systems.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Workday
- Experience delivering technology transformation or implementation projects.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience leading project activities or workstreams.
Highly Desirable
- ERP Tax configuration or implementation experience.
- Experience supporting ERP transformation programmes.
- Exposure to indirect tax, compliance, reporting, or automation initiatives.
- Experience within consulting, professional services, or large transformation environments.
- Exposure to SAP or Oracle ERP platforms.
