Workday Test Manager/Business Analyst | Part-Time Contract
📍 London preferred / Manchester
💼 3 days per week | 22.5 hours per week
📅 Contract until end of December 2026
We’re currently working with a leading banking client who are looking for an experienced Workday Test Manager/Business Analyst to join their team on an initial contract through to the end of December 2026.
This is a part-time opportunity (3 days per week / 22.5 hours) and not a full-time position. The role combines full ownership of Test Management with Business Analysis and Process Design, so we’re looking for someone who can confidently manage the end-to-end testing lifecycle while also supporting process mapping, requirements gathering and process design. You don't need to be a Workday technical specialist, but you should have a solid understanding of Workday HCM and previous experience working on Workday implementation and/or optimisation programmes.

- Own the end-to-end Test Management function across the Workday programme.
- Develop and manage test strategies, plans, scenarios and test cases.
- Coordinate SIT, UAT and regression testing through to completion.
- Manage defects, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Provide regular testing progress and readiness reporting to stakeholders.
- Support Business Analysis activities, including requirements gathering and analysis.
- Lead process mapping and process design activities.
- Identify opportunities for Workday optimisation and process improvements.
- Translate business requirements into clear process and testing requirements.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and Workday technical/configuration teams.
- Use your understanding of Workday HCM to help shape effective business processes.
🎯 Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience as a Test Manager / Test Lead.
- Experience working within a Workday environment.
- Solid understanding of Workday HCM.
- Experience with Workday implementations and/or optimisation.
- Strong end-to-end Test Management experience, including test strategy, planning, SIT, UAT and defect management.
- Previous Business Analyst experience.
- Strong experience with process mapping, requirements gathering and process design.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to bridge business requirements, process design and testing.
- Workday configuration experience is not essential.

📍 Location & Working Pattern
- 3 days per week / 22.5 hours per week until the end of December 2026.
- London is preferred, with Manchester also considered.
- Remote working is possible for the right candidate, although some office presence is preferred.
Day 1 will need to be office-based.
