Workday Test Manager
Part Time - 3 Days / 22.5 hours per Week
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 4 months
Pay Rate: £575-675 (Umbrella)
Summary
This part-time role focuses on owning and driving all testing activity for Workday changes and enhancements. The candidate will work closely with Workday configuration teams but will not perform configuration themselves. A strong understanding of how Workday functions is essential, alongside the ability to design, coordinate, and manage structured testing cycles.

- Test Management - Lead the full testing lifecycle, including planning, scripting, coordinating testers, managing defects, and ensuring quality sign-off.
- Workday Collaboration - Partner with Workday functional and technical teams to understand upcoming changes and translate them into clear testing requirements.
- Process Alignment - Ensure test scenarios reflect accurate business processes and Workday capabilities.
- Business Readiness - Support documentation updates, stakeholder communication, and readiness for new functionality.
- Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities to strengthen testing approaches, coverage, and efficiency.

Experience & Skills
- Solid understanding of Workday functionality across relevant modules.
- Proven experience managing UAT or system testing in HR or ERP environments.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders remotely.
- Experience in process mapping or process-driven testing beneficial.
Applicants must be based in the UK and able to commute to London for first/one day of training.
