At Bradford Children and Families Trust, our people are at the heart of the difference we make for children and families.
We’re looking for a passionate and innovative workforce professional who can help us better understand our people, challenge our thinking and turn insight into meaningful action.
This influential role brings together workforce analytics, employee voice, organisational design and inclusion to support the delivery of our Workforce Strategy.
You’ll work alongside leaders across the Trust, using workforce data and employee insight to identify opportunities, influence decisions and develop practical solutions that:
- Improve the employee experience
- Strengthen organisational culture
- Support an inclusive and engaged workforce
- Inform effective workforce planning and design
- Improve organisational performance
- Ultimately support better outcomes for Bradford’s children and families
But this role isn’t just about producing reports and analysing numbers. It’s about understanding what the data is telling us, bringing the employee voice into our decisions and helping leaders take action that makes a difference.

You’ll also:
- Lead on workforce insight and people analytics, identifying trends, risks and opportunities across the employee lifecycle.
- Develop meaningful KPIs, dashboards and workforce intelligence that help leaders make informed, evidence-based decisions.
- Turn workforce data and employee feedback into clear recommendations and practical improvement actions.
- Lead employee engagement and listening activity, including surveys, pulse checks, focus groups and staff feedback initiatives.
- Monitor key indicators including engagement, culture, wellbeing and retention, identifying opportunities to improve the employee experience.
- Work with leaders, staff networks and colleagues to develop inclusive engagement, wellbeing and retention initiatives.
- Support delivery of the Workforce Strategy, organisational development priorities and culture transformation programmes.
- Design and facilitate workshops, team development and organisational development interventions, measuring their impact and effectiveness.
- Use workforce and equality data to identify inequalities, understand barriers and improve workforce outcomes.
- Analyse recruitment, retention, exit and stay insights to understand what attracts people to the organisation and what helps them stay and thrive.
- Build confidence and capability across the People & Talent team to make effective use of workforce data and insight.
To be successful in this role you will need:
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a degree, professional qualification, or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Psychology, People Analytics, Data Analytics or a related field.
- Has experience in workforce analytics, people intelligence, HR analytics or organisational development, using data and insight to support better decision-making.
- Has experience designing and delivering employee engagement, staff voice or culture improvement initiatives.
- Is confident analysing staff survey results, focus group feedback and other workforce insights to drive meaningful change.
- Has experience presenting data, intelligence and recommendations to a range of stakeholders, including senior leaders.
- Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using Excel, Power BI or similar reporting tools.
- Understands workforce planning, organisational development and evidence-based approaches to improving employee experience.
- Has experience supporting organisational change, culture transformation or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Is an excellent communicator who can build strong relationships and influence positive
