About The Role

The Workforce Management Professional provides essential support to the workforce management and planning process. This involves liaising with business units to understand their resourcing needs, developing key workforce metrics, and providing insights that inform strategic workforce decisions.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Tracks key workforce metrics to identify trends and issues, creating workforce reports and visualisations using pre-defined templates, tools and technologies.
  • Delivers ad hoc workforce analysis, including headcount, attrition, skills and demographic insights, to support senior leaders and P&C Professionals in decision-making and addressing complex business challenges.
  • Supports the in-unit Workforce Planning team and wider P&C function by analysing workforce trends and identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Monitors workforce planning initiatives and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement within workforce management processes.
  • Collects, consolidates and maintains workforce data, ensuring data accuracy, integrity and compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Supports ongoing position management activities, including job role corrections and organisational restructuring changes.
  • Supports the setup and administration of redundancy and voluntary paid leaver programmes in collaboration with People & HR Services.
  • Shares knowledge and insights on workforce data, providing consultation to HR and business stakeholders to strengthen data-led decision-making and storytelling capabilities across the P&C function.
  • As part of an agile P&C organisation, participates in cross-functional teams and contributes expertise to projects outside of their primary specialisation, delivering value across multiple HR domains.

Essential Skills / Experience

  • Tracks, analyses and visualises key performance indicators, metrics and data points to monitor performance and support decision-making.
  • Collects, analyses and interprets data to identify patterns, trends and insights. Uses data modelling, visualisations and compelling narratives to communicate findings and support informed decision-making.
  • Builds, manages and strengthens relationships with stakeholders across the business, ensuring effective collaboration, alignment and delivery of shared objectives.

  • Designs and maintains data models to support the effective storage, organisation and analysis of data. Applies processes, methods and technologies to ensure data quality, accuracy, integrity and compliance with business requirements.
