Workforce Planning Lead

Are you passionate about turning business strategy into workforce plans that drive performance? One of the world's most iconic luxury Brands are recruiting for a Workforce Planning Lead to shape and deliver their workforce planning approach, helping leaders make informed decisions about talent, capability, capacity, and cost. This is a high-impact role that combines data-driven insight, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement.

Role includes

  • Lead workforce planning across a complex organization, translating business goals into actionable people plans.
  • Develop workforce forecasts, scenario models, and headcount plans.
  • Partner with senior leaders, HR, and Finance to identify future workforce needs and risks.
  • Provide insight on workforce cost, skills, capacity, and organization design.
  • Improve workforce reporting and planning processes through data, automation, and analytics.
  • Support strategic decisions with evidence-based recommendations.

Workforce Planning

  • Build and own the organization's workforce planning approach, method, and annual planning cycle.
  • Define the workforce drivers for each business area — the volume, programme, product cycle, and

Headcount and Establishment Governance

  • Own the establishment record: every approved and funded role, filled or vacant, with its position in the structure.

Organisation Design

  • Act as custodian of the organisation design principles, ensuring proposed structures are tested against them before approval rather than after implementation.

Contingent Workforce

  • Build and maintain a complete picture of the contractor and agency population: numbers, duration, cost, location, capability, and the reason each engagement exists.

Analytics, Insight, and Capability

  • Turn workforce data into practical insight for People and business leaders, covering headcount, vacancies, attrition, workforce cost, location, and workforce mix.

What we're looking for

  • Experience in workforce planning, people analytics, finance, HR strategy, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and modelling skills, including advanced Excel capability.
  • Ability to turn complex data into clear, practical insights.
  • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
  • Commercially minded with a strong understanding of workforce costs and planning.
  • Experience in a complex operational environment is advantageous.
