Are you an organised and analytical workforce planning professional looking for your next challenge? Do you have experience managing labour schedules, time and attendance processes, and workforce compliance in a fast-paced operational environment?
We're looking for a Labour Planning & T&A Compliance Manager to join our Healthcare business. This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring labour is planned efficiently, budgets are managed effectively, and time and attendance processes are completed accurately to support operational excellence across multiple sites.
The Role
Working closely with operational managers, finance teams, HR, and labour optimisation colleagues, you'll play a key role in delivering effective workforce planning and labour compliance. While primarily based at Addenbrooke's Hospital, you will also be expected to travel to other sites to provide support, guidance, and oversight as required.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Creating and maintaining workforce rotas up to four weeks in advance.
- Ensuring labour schedules meet operational requirements while remaining within agreed budgets.
- Monitoring labour costs, overtime, agency usage, and workforce efficiency.
- Managing and reconciling time and attendance records to ensure payroll accuracy.
- Overseeing holiday planning and workforce coverage across departments.
- Producing workforce, labour, and compliance reports for operational and finance teams.
- Supporting managers with workforce management systems and best-practice processes.
- Ensuring compliance with working time regulations, payroll procedures, and company policies.
- Coordinating and resolving pay-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Identifying opportunities to improve productivity, compliance, and labour performance.

About You
We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with data, systems, and stakeholders to drive operational success.
You'll Ideally Have
- Experience in workforce planning, labour scheduling, time and attendance, or workforce administration.
- Strong knowledge of Workforce Management (WFM) systems, with Infor, Ubeya, or similar platforms being advantageous.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and administrative skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical capabilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Knowledge of workforce compliance, payroll processes, and working time regulations.
- The confidence to influence and build relationships with managers and stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
