Role Description

No1 Lounges is an award-winning airport lounge operator, delivering premium yet accessible pre-flight experiences to over three million passengers each year. We operate a network of 17 lounges across major UK airports including London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Birmingham, Luton, and Jersey.

The Workforce Planning Manager is responsible for ensuring No1 Lounges has the right people, with the right skills and contract mix, in the right place at the right time to deliver operational excellence and exceptional guest experiences.

Reporting to the Operations Director, the role will lead workforce planning, labor forecasting, and workforce analytics across the business. Working closely with Operations, People, Payroll, and Finance, the role will develop labor models, staffing structures, and recruitment forecasts that support business growth while optimizing labor cost and productivity.

The role will also play a key part in the design and implementation of the company's HRIS program, leading the definition of workforce planning, scheduling, labor management, leave planning, and workforce reporting requirements to ensure future systems support a modern, data-driven approach to workforce management.

Key Responsibilities

Workforce Planning

  • Develop and maintain the workforce planning methodology used across the business, ensuring a consistent, data-driven approach to labor modeling, forecasting, and resource planning.
  • Develop labor models and staffing structures for each lounge, ensuring workforce supply aligns with guest demand and service requirements.
  • Review workforce requirements regularly and recommend changes in response to seasonal demand, airline gains and losses, operational changes, and business growth.
  • Determine the appropriate mix of full-time, part-time, and flexible labor required across the estate.
  • Support annual labor budgeting and workforce planning activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
