Workforce Transformation Director

As a Workforce Transformation Director, you’ll play a senior, market-facing role helping organisations navigate large-scale Employee Experience transformation, with a particular focus on AI and the future of work. You’ll advise C-suite and senior HR, Technology and business leaders on how AI is reshaping roles, skills, culture and employee experience, while developing practical change strategies that drive adoption, engagement and sustainable behaviour change. The role combines strategy, consulting, commercial leadership and hands-on delivery, with opportunities to develop new propositions, lead multidisciplinary teams and bring together WTW’s broader Employee Experience, Health, Wealth & Career solutions. It’s an exciting opportunity to shape how organisations turn AI investment into meaningful, measurable workforce impact.

The Role

  • Lead the design, development and delivery of Employee Experience and Communication & Engagement strategies that support large-scale HR, business and technology-enabled workforce transformation programmes.
  • Lead and grow the AI Workforce Transformation agenda within EX, helping clients understand how AI will change work, where people-related risk and adoption barriers may emerge, and how to accelerate the transition to future-state ways of working.
  • Advise senior client stakeholders on the people and change implications of AI and broader transformation, including workforce readiness, culture, role clarity, capability and skills build, leadership alignment, adoption, trust, communication and employee experience design.
  • Translate complex workforce and organisational transformation concepts into clear, compelling narratives, communication strategies and experience-led deliverables across digital, print, leader-led and employee-facing channels.
  • Use insight-led approaches to help clients assess readiness, sentiment, adoption and risk, drawing on solutions such as ChangeVue, virtual focus groups, Engage-enabled diagnostics, adoption profiles, key driver analysis and change acceleration planning.
  • Develop and deliver change acceleration strategies and roadmaps that anchor change with clarity and insight, mobilise leaders, managers and HR, and reinforce new ways of working to sustain performance.
  • Lead new business development, including senior relationship building, opportunity shaping, RFP responses, statements of work, project plans, budgets, pricing and commercial negotiation.
  • Demonstrate effective sales leadership behaviours, including collaboration, creativity, persistent follow-up, sound judgement in scoping and pricing, and a strong focus on closing the deal and delivering profitable revenue.
  • Build and deepen relationships with key clients and internal cross-functional teams to maximise the penetration of target accounts and identify opportunities for integrated AI Workforce Transformation work in particular.
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality, innovative work, managing budget, timeline, quality, risk and client expectations while enabling effective delegation and team development.
  • Coach, mentor and develop colleagues through project leadership, on-the-job feedback and role modelling of strong client advisory, change consulting, commercial and communication skills.
  • Partner with colleagues across EX, Work & Rewards, Integrated & Global Solutions and the wider Health, Wealth & Career business to sell and deliver integrated advice, data and software-enabled solutions.
  • Provide thought leadership and contribute to the development of intellectual capital, new tools, propositions and approaches that keep our solutions distinctive, relevant and commercially compelling.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
